Opening with cocktail on Monday 8 October, 2018 between 12 p.m. Thanks to the graphic and playful character, comics are an ideal communication tool in order to convey the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the larger public. Signings by the illustrators as well as meet-ups with the Spirou magazine editorial team will be held. The Spirou magazine joins the anniversary campaign launched by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights with a special issue in which the most talented comic authors illustrate the thirty articles of the Declaration.Īn exhibition introducing these thirty articles will be showcased at the Palais des Nations.
